Eamonn established Apollo Property Services Group and Keepmoat (now Equans) in Scotland, growing the regional business from zero to £70m per annum turnover, delivering construction and refurbishment services to some of Scotland’s largest private and public sector property owners.
Rob was previously the CEO of Apollo Property Services Group, a £400m/annum turnover company delivering a broad spectrum of construction, building refurbishment and property & facility maintenance services across the UK. Rob and Eamonn have worked together since 1988.
Steve was the CFO for Apollo Group and overseen the £1bn merger with Keepmoat. Steve oversees the Group function and strategic development with Eamonn and Rob.
Claire trained at Apollo, and went on to become the Regional Finance Director for a £250m part of the Keepmoat Apollo Group. Claire joins us following a spell with a well-known London based SME.
John leads the teams in Scotland and the North of England. He previously held Senior Management positions within the Refurbishment and New Build Housing sectors including Keepmoat (now Equans) where he worked with Eamonn.
Jon was previously Business Director of United Living Property Services responsible for delivering an annual budget of around £50m/annum specialising in the refurbishment and regeneration sector. Prior to that Jon worked with Rob and Eamonn at Apollo Property Services Group and later Keepmoat Regeneration where he became Commercial Director responsible for business integration and improvement within an organisation turning over circa £800m/annum.
Chris has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry. Previously, as Regeneration Director at Equans, he built a Division of 260 employees delivering an annual revenue of £75m, focusing on Retrofit and Building Safety projects. Chris previously worked with Rob, Eamonn, and many other players in the McConnell team, at Apollo.
Craig is a seasoned Health and Safety professional, responsible for ensuring that McConnell meets or exceeds our industry’s strict Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality standards.
Ross has previously held senior commercial roles at Tier 1 contractors Mears Group and more recently at United Living where he was responsible for the commercial performance of a refurbishment division delivering an annual revenue of £80m. Having joined McConnell in 2021, he is responsible for all commercial functions in our South region.
Adam was previously Regional Operations Director at Equans, where he was responsible for the Refurbishment Divisions delivering an annual revenue of £200m. Adam previously worked with Rob, Eamonn, Chris and many other players in the McConnell team, at Apollo. Having joined McConnell in 2024, he is responsible for all commercial functions in our Central region.
Neil heads up the main Refurbishment Division in Scotland and the North of England. He has 25 years Senior Management experience within the sector including previously helping Eamonn establish Apollo Property Services Group in Scotland, and learning the refurbishment ropes at Morris & Spottiswood.
Frank directs one of the operational divisions in Scotland, and previously held director level construction roles in the UK and abroad.
Tommy joined from United Living, where he was a Divisional Director responsible for a £75m annual budget. Prior to that, Tommy worked at Mears Group for 10 years, rising up through their management training programme. Tommy is experienced at planning and delivering all aspects of refurbishment projects including building safety, retrofit, large-scale frameworks, and partnering contracts.
Pat worked at director level for a leading G15 Housing Association before “crossing the fence” to take up director roles on the contracting side, most recently overseeing £40m per annum of planned and responsive maintenance works for Equans. A founder member of the PPC/TPC Steering Group, Pat is helping establish our Central region, spanning from north of the Thames up to Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.
Ken has been responsible for our RCC (Roofing, Cladding & Coatings) division since 2010. His vast knowledge of these specialist areas extends to all types of flat and pitched roofing, and specialist coatings & painting, primarily for large scale Housing, Commercial, Retail and Industrial applications.
Francis has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry working in senior commercial and estimating roles with Robertson and Keepmoat, before joining McConnell in 2019. Francis oversees the estimating of our retrofit, building safety, energy efficiency, and large scale refurbishment tenders.
Tracy is responsible for our New Business, Bid Management, and Community & Social Engagement teams in Scotland and the North of England. Tracy was previously a Proposals & Bid Manager for Morgan Sindall, Wates Group, and Engie.
Peter is part of the furniture at McConnell with over 20 years under his belt. A seasoned figure in the roofing and cladding sector in Scotland, Peter is responsible for developing the opportunities pipeline feeding our divisions in Scotland and North England.
Keith has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry and has previously worked with many of the McConnell senior team. Following a Technical Sales Manager role for facade systems manufacturer Weber, Keith has held senior business development roles in the refurbishment sector for Makers, Apollo, Keepmoat and Durkan.

We have an in-house division specialising in the design and installation of building cladding and sheeting systems, primarily to replace or over-clad existing systems.
We were established in 1929 as a painting and decorating business and though the business service offering has widened considerably, we have retained a division that specialises in larger-scale commercial painting and specialist coatings application for public and private sector clients.
